Happy Mothers Day

It’s in the middle of the night and it’s hard to get myself to sleep

Lying in the bed with my mama and to her I’m trying to lean

Wanting to jot something about Mother’s Day

Yes; maybe this is a good idea

I’m technically writing, but

I don’t know where to begin

My hearts say something

But my mind couldn’t utter

I realize I’m not an ace writer  

But that doesn’t, matter

I should pray and be thankful to God after

For I have the best mama ever.
